December came so fast and before we knew it the snow was flying and it was time for our Christmas Luncheon. We met at the TBA Career center in TC and had a wonderful lunch made by the students. They even came and sang for us at the end. It is a lovely tradition we have been doing for several years and I hope we continue. Great thanks to the planning committee but a special thanks to Linda for coordinating.
Chris made this green quit from scraps. I love it! She also made the potholders with some great embroidery.
Then she turned around and really wowed us with the embroidery on the back of her jacket.
Ruth is hiding but we all know she is there...The Christmas wall hanging is wool and the Christmas balls wall hanging is adorable with lots of embellishments.
Sue made the quilt on the right by cutting up a panel. The quilt on the left with the gold stars is stunning.
Della made this doll carrier for her grand niece along with a little doll quilt. She had made one for her niece when she was a little girl . It all comes around.
Judy has been busy. Wallets as gifts for family members. The naughty and nice wall hanging below is so cute...she gave it to Ruth for her grand kids. Sue brought the snowflake project made in her Stitch Club that meets at Interquilten. She is continuing this in January so anyone interested should call and sign up. She is also doing our January program and will teach us some stitches.
Wow Vi...what can I say. This pineapple quilt was paper pieced. Beautiful!!
Linda had many helper elves that made gifts we had drawings for...what fun. Then I took pictures of each table and the wonderful gifts. So the following pictures are of all of us decked in our holiday finery.
Judy made a special Angel Award for three members...Mary, Barb and Ruth who made special contributions of time and talent to Fellowship Quilters. Thanks to Judy!!!
Thanks to Chef Daryll Collins and his students
