October Fellowship Quilters

Greetings to all the Fellowship Quilters who were at the last meeting.  We had a record number of members, over 60,  and lots of beautiful quilts to  enjoy as many of you  have been busy.  Must be the cold weather!!  Or maybe it is the UFO challenge!
Mary had a few projects and they are beautiful as usual.  (sorry for the blurry picture)
Karen does such great wall hangings..she is an inspiration!!
Just so we don't think that all she can make is artsy wall hanging/art pieces she showed this fantastic quit.   I can't remember the pattern but took a close up of the block below...Great job Karen!!

Joy put lots of work into this one...love the outdoor theme and the different blocks.
Judy had this top done but not quilted yet...love the pattern and colors
Bobbie has been into her quilting room lots as she showed two quilts she finished..beautiful as usual.
Bev made this attractive jacket...I love the colors!!
We do the block of the month to help increase our stash of charity quilts.  It is so fun to learn a square that you would not have done yourself. Jackie is presenting the block above.
Our program today was to bring our fabric cut into specific pieces and the placed in a paper bag.  With various trades and much laughter we each ended up with 4 different fabrics and this is the block we made.  It will be very scrappy, each block different, with the white star in the center to sign for quilts for members in need.   Thanks to our Leader Tracey for this fun project.
The work bee is already past and our new project is to make some weighted quilts for special needs children.  Hope it went well and I am sure we will be working on this for awhile.
Thanks to everyone for such an enjoyable day!!  Kathy
