March Madness

This months morning project was fun and practical.  A blue jean pocket pot holder.  Say that 10 times really fast.  We had a great group with some of our winter travelers back in the fold.  Linda has the block of the month and handed out kits with beautiful fabric.

Linda then showed an example of a finished quilt top in the pattern.  Beautiful.
Vi made us laugh with this hot dog quit...it is for Habitat!  What you can't see is that Chris quilted it with dog paws!!  Some kid is going to love it.
The quilt below is made from a jelly roll...love the blue and purples.

Barb made this cute quit above for the Munson Neo Natatal unit.  It drapes over the isolate and keeps the babies from being in the bright lights all the time.  Then they give the quilts to the families of the baby.  Great thing to do...they have to be 40x60 if you are interested in making one.
Lisa used her collection of antique to inspire this quit that reflects her love of fabric and antiques.
Trudy finished this beautiful star quilt...started at a difficult time in her life but now a beautiful result!
Judy made bags....travel bag and a purse that can be used when exercising..  an Izzy bay pattern.

Chris made this quilt at a retreat and it looks like a great pattern with great fabric combos.
She also made a quilt for the Munson NNICU.  We are such a giving group...love it.
Sue has a wool applique class at Interquilten and this is the result of the last class...so beautiful.

Sue had an option for doing it on black wool...very striking.

She has a new class with circles...what fun.   Interquilten will now be in TC in the Quilt N Bee space on south Airport rd so check them out and see what classes Sue and the other instructors have for this spring.
Maryann moved up north and decided she needed to "up north Christmas stockings"  Love the fur!

Christine made this fantastic quilt for her 50th wedding anniversary.  Each square profiles a part of their life together and the history of their family.  What a great idea and an heirloom for her family to treasure.

Renee used this flower panel to make a very unique quilt...the quilting below is fantastic

She loves to experiment with new patterns...wonderful.
A block of the month for the closet...thanks so much Jacky.

Pat is at it again with a new purse that she said was a pain to make and she would not make again but turned out wonderful!!
