I sent a meeting update after the last meeting but will repeat that if anyone has info for a quilt for someone in need let Barb know and she will try and accommodate the need.
Serious members who are listening to Judy's financial report. We do not pay dues but collect love offerings when we need to buy supplies such as batting.
Pat showed off her half square triangle quilt. We had an exchange of half square triangles a few years ago and have seen many great quilts as a result.
Barb always has quilts that are beautiful and this one is no exception. The close up of the cross stitch quilt below was done by her neighbor. Unfortunately she died before it was finished and Barb finished it for her.,,now she has to find someone in that family who will give it a home and love it. Great job Barb...I am sure your neighbor is looking down from heaven and thanking you!!! Just another example of how quilters are wonderful people.
Connie brought this quilt because it uses felted wool. Great job and so warm!!
Carol was sick for the last meeting and Della did her part of the program. She brought this example of the color and shape combos she talked about. Love the quilting too!!
Della brought two examples of our program for March. It is called stitch and slash. If you want to investigate before the meeting look it up on you-tube and get a preview.
We have some new members and need to update our picture directory. I do not know how to do that and would love someone to take it over. Let me know.
I still have to send the roster by email but need to catch my son for 5 minutes to have him show me again how to do it.
Hope everyone stays warm and does not have frozen pipes!!!
