October 2018

Well this blog is long over due.  I had the pictures in and just did not get back to put in the 
names and descriptions..however it will all be new to us as it has been so long since you saw them!!!
Thank you to Roberta for all her hard work and expertise in presenting the program this month.  The fabric flowers are so beautiful...I am sorry to miss out on this one!!

Block of the month
Weighted blankets done at the work bees for the kids at Oak Park School.  75 students. Also fidget blocks done at the work bee.  Great job ladies.  Lots of jobs and many hands have helped  Thanks so much to our members.

Pea pods are the program for then next month...they are adorable!!!

Chris showed this Quilt of Valor...great job and I know it will go to a good home.
What a beautiful puzzle quilt for a grand baby.  She made 4 baby quilts for Bundle of Love.   Great Job Ruth

Barb's trip to Oregon resulted in lots of show and tell...quilt above called trip to Oregon. The one below is stunning...yellow and black with Y seams. The one below that is more yellow and black jelly roll.

Ruth has been busy as usual.  Baby quits that she does so well.  The blue quilts are for the Torch Lake cottage. 

Marsha made this great looking rug.
Sue has embroidery from the Interquilten group...they are doing ships this year I think.
Wow Donna!!  This blue sampler is fantastic.  11 by 10 blocks and each is different!!
